Don’t Say: “How”, Say: “Now”

There is so much difference between the words, “how” and “now”.  With “now” the path becomes clear and time is used in a worthwhile way, and in “how” time is wasted.  When we say now, faith and trust increase and we receive co-operation.  Always be ready and prepared.

IT’S TIME TO ‘SHRI GANESH’ A NEW ME

IT’S TIME TO ‘SHRI GANESH’ A NEW ME

New beginnings are welcomed with enthusiasm, hope, happiness and the pure desire for accomplishment. Around the world, and moreover in India, every milestone of life or fresh venture is encased with a ritual or simply an ardent prayer for everything to go well. These auspicious undertakings fill the aspirant with unending faith and vigour that ensure success. What a beautiful religious practice we follow of invoking the Supreme at every new step we take! How great then must that powerful deity be, who is always worshipped during new beginnings: the revered  Lord  Ganpathi.

GANESH CHATURTI

Vighna Haro Deva !

GANESH CHATURTI

The rich Hindu pantheon of Gods and Goddesses is astounding; each persona harbours an ocean of divine qualities and powers.  And the one worshipped before all is the most intriguing Lord Shri Ganeshji.  The 10 days of celebration, especially in Maharashtra, is one of the grandest pujas performed, where every family (irrespective of social status) prays before Vighna Vinashak (Destroyer of Obstacles), Lord Ganapathi, (the Wise One), Siddhi Vinayak (Harbinger of Success).  During these times of pain, chaos, fear and hopelessness, we need to regain power to face challenges and gain victory over negativity.  Who better to teach us than our much-loved Ganeshji.

The belief that spirituality, meditation, value education etc. are not for the average person, is untrue.  As our thoughts, decision-making powers, emotional intelligence etc. are real (albeit subtle energies), we definitely need to enhance our spiritual side if we aim to be successful in life.

Go into the subtlety of knowledge and the depth of karma

Baba tells us very deep things and I would say to you: Don’t think about other things or other people - just go into the depth of what Baba is saying. Every single aspect of Baba’s has the potential to touch your mind and your heart. They can help us reform ourselves. There’s no need to think about reforming others. Today Baba pulled our ears: While performing charitable actions, don’t perform sinful actions too. To defame is a sin.  When I’m defaming someone, I don’t it is a bad thing, it’s justified - but when I am defamed it’s a terrible thing to do!  Baba said: If someone defames me, they are my friend. It’s just a test paper and I’m learning. Let me not start defaming them, and say: Why do they only defame me?  Small sins accumulate – Baba is saying: Remember Me to finish the sins of past births, let alone this one.

The significance of service

  • In Baba’s houses the atmosphere is very powerful. How long does it make to take a powerful atmosphere in a particular place. What do you need to do to make that. Is one person needed or many?
  • When people win an ordinary lottery, they never forget it. Why do we forget?
  • Has Dadi more to say about Dadi’s message to the world – the three things she would say?
  • People seem to be able to take less knowledge but need an experience. How to serve essencefully to give that experience. Do I just have to work on myself?
  • If we are to serve we are to keep the mind free and the heart clean. Is that not the method for fast effort?
  • I want to return home now. How can I do that?
