What we see today may not be just the fruit of chance but the fruit of seeds planted in the past. Plant seeds of peace now and create a life of peace in the future.

Trust

It is normally experienced that it is difficult to trust all the people
around us. We do want to but the negative experiences (when people
don't fulfill our expectations) do not let us do so. We tend to add
up to this negative experience with each incident that happens, which
further breaks our trust for people. The only way to trust and gain
people's trust is by having respect for them. Respect makes us look at
the specialties in everyone and we are able to relate to these
specialties. The more we look at the positive aspect in others, the
more we are able to encourage others to use these specialties and
relate to our own specialties too. This is the only way that trust
comes.

Understanding The Mechanism Of The Virtue Of Peace

Each and every human soul's original trait or characteristic is peace. Before each soul comes down on the earth to take its first physical body, the soul is in a state of complete peace, residing in the soul world. In the soul world, the two faculties of the soul - the mind and intellect are complete inactive or dormant and the third faculty, the sanskara or spiritual personality is only that of eternal peace and purity and no other virtue like happiness, love or knowledge.The mind is completely silent, not creating a single thought or emotion or feeling nor possessing an attitude. The intellect which possesses the power to discriminate right thoughts, words or actions from the wrong ones does not exercise its power because there are no thoughts, words or actions in the soul world, so there is nothing there to discriminate. The sanskaras (as mentioned above) are also inactive to a certain extent - there are no thoughts, feelings, emotions, attitudes, words or actions to be created or processed, which would be based on the sanskaras or personality.

When the soul first takes a physical body on the world stage, it creates thoughts and feelings which are few in number and they are only positive and its words and actions are also limited and completely positive. Its discrimination power is active and completely accurate and its sanskarasor personality come into an active mode (sanskaras other than peace also become active) but only for a positive purpose to create positive thoughts, words or actions. As a result of this, the soul experiences immense peace, but the extent of the peace is lesser than that of in the soul world, where it is completely still and experiences dead silence or peace. It is never peaceless though at this stage. As the soul starts coming into the process of birth and rebirth, its starts losing its energy slowly; its mind, intellect and sanskarasstart functioning negatively or incorrectly, it begins to succumb to the vices, leading to the creation of thoughts, words and actions, which are not only large in number but they are mostly waste or negative in nature. As a result, the soul gradually begins to lose its peace, which it experienced in the soul world (eternal peace) and at the start of its journey on the physical world and starts becoming peaceless.

Tomorrow we shall explain how we can return to our original state of peace.

Cooking And Eating With A Spiritual Touch (cont.)

Having prepared food with attention (which we have explained over the last two days), the Brahma Kumaris' practice is then to offer the freshly-prepared meal to the Supreme Soul. We call it offering bhog (or commonly called prasad) to the Supreme Father. As a part of this practice, positive energy or vibrations of love, bliss and peace taken from the Supreme via meditation for 5-10 minutes, is given to the food prepared, by keeping a small portion of the food in a clean vessel kept aside for this purpose only, on a table in front of you. This practice can be followed every day for one main meal at least, or more, depending on how much time you have at hand. It is good to do this exercise in a special corner in the house or even a separate small room kept aside for the purpose of meditation or basically a place where the atmosphere is spiritually empowering as compared to the rest of the house. Charging the food with positive spiritual energy and expressing gratitude to the Supreme in this way serves to increase the spiritual quality of the food and deepen the individual's personal relationship with the Supreme, while also creating a powerful, shared divine experience. On a very practical level, it will also help the body to prepare itself to receive and digest food. Of course, the last step is to eat, and this, too, is best done in a peaceful, unhurried and harmonious state of mind and environment: we are what we eat and also how we eat. It’s good to avoid eating along with the television or newspaper. Eating with the family in a positive setting is a good practice. But talking excessively and sharing negative information at that time with each other should be avoided. Talking quite less, talking very slowly, softly and sweetly and talking about positive and constructive aspects of life, with the rest of the family members, should be the norm for meal eating time.

Whether you are a new, aspiring or trained cook, we hope that the information in this and the last two days’ messages, with its emphasis on the soul as well as the body, will bring an added dimension to your kitchen and dining table. Cooking, and eating, should be a joyful and significant experience. So cook and enjoy!

Where everything is done according to the right method there is success.

Projection: When we don't achieve success we sometimes do get tempted to opt for a short cut method, which might bring us temporary success, too. But in the long run we find that it isn't be so beneficial after all.

Solution: Whenever we are involved in a task specially if it is a difficult one we need to make sure that we are following the right method. Whatever is done according to the right system will surely be successful.

Essence: Sweet children, the Father has come to give you true freedom (swatantrata) and to liberate you from the punishment of the demons of death and from your dependency (partantrata) on Ravan.

Question: What is the main difference between the explanation that the Father gives and the explanation you children give?

Answer: When the Father explains, He does so whilst saying, "Sweet children." Through this, the arrow of what the Father says strikes the target. When you children explain to your brothers, you cannot say, "Sweet children". The Father is the Senior and this is why what He says has an effect. He makes you children have realization. Children, are you not ashamed that you have become impure? Now, become pure!

 

Essence for dharna:

1.      You have found the one Father. Therefore, do not worry about anything. Follow His directions, have unlimited sense, and become instruments to uplift everyone with happiness.

2.      In order to be saved from the punishment of the demons of death (jamghata)  and receive true independence, you definitely have to become pure. Knowledge is your source of income. So imbibe it and become wealthy.

Blessing:    May you be (prayogshaali)a soul who experiments with the powers of knowledge and yoga on the basis of light.

Just as physical light is able to demonstrate in a practical way many types of experiments of science, similarly, you can experiment with the powers of yoga and knowledge, with the imperishable light of God, with the light of the soul and also the light of your practical stage. If your stage and your form are double light, then you can easily be successful in your experiments. When each of you becomes engaged in experimenting with yourself, a powerful gathering of souls who experiment will be created.

Baba says, just as scientists experiment with different elements and chemicals in a laboratory by sunlight or electric light, in the same way, you yogi souls, should experiment with the powers of knowledge and yoga with God’s light and see the different results you achieve. You could take a point of knowledge and churn on it or take a weakness and burn it, or experience a blissful state, As each one is an individual, the results will be different. Doing the same type of meditation everyday tends to get boring; see which one is best suited for you. To be more innovative also experiment with the light of your own soul and also the light of your practical stage.

Slogan:      Those who finish every trace and progeny (ansh aur vansh) of obstacles are destroyers of obstacles.(vighn vinaashak)

You cannot be free of any obstacle until your vices, old sanskars, weaknesses, defects, mistakes, old rubbish are cremated; every trace and progeny (ansh aur vansh) has to be finished, or else they get a new life again. Understand the reasons for your shortcomings and weaknesses and resolve them. Finish all complaints with the experimentation of yoga and become complete and you will be a destroyer of obstacles.(vighn vinaashak)

The unlimited spiritual Father sits here and explains to the unlimited spiritual children. Only the unlimited Father and the unlimited children know this. No one else knows the unlimited Father and they do not consider themselves to be children of the unlimited Father. Only those who are the mouth-born creation of Brahma know this and accept it. No one else would accept this. Brahma is definitely needed and he is also called Adi Dev. The Father enters him. What does the Father come and do? He says: You have to become pure.

The Father's shrimat is: Have the faith that you are souls. He has given you children the introduction of the soul. The soul resides in the centre of the forehead. Baba has explained that a soul is imperishable and that his throne is a perishable body. You know these things and that all of you souls are brothers, children of the one Father. To say that God is omnipresent is a mistake. You explain very well that there is the existence of the five vices in everyone, and some think that what you say is right. We are brothers, and so we will surely receive an inheritance from the Father. However, as soon as you leave here, you get into the storms of Maya; hardly anyone survives. This is the condition everywhere.

Some understand a little of this well and make effort to understand a little more. You can now explain to everyone. If someone doesn't pay a lot of attention, it would be said: He is not an old devotee. Only those who are to understand these things will understand them. If someone doesn't understand, he is unable to explain to others. It is numberwise amongst you too. A good person is sent to explain to a good person, so that perhaps he can understand something because you know that important people don't understand these things that quickly.

Yes, they do give their opinion and say that the way you explained is good, that you give the Father's full introduction, but that they themselves don't have time. You tell them: Remember the unlimited Father so that your sins can be absolved. You now understand that the Father is speaking directly to you souls. When you listen to Him directly, the arrow strikes the target very well.

There (at a centre), you listen through a BK. Here, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, says directly through Brahma: O children, will you not listen to the Father? None of you can say this to anyone. There, there is not the Father, but He is sitting here. The Father is speaking to you. Children, will you not even listen to the Father? On the path of ignorance too, there is a difference between the explanation given by a father and that given by a brother. What a brother says would not have as much effect as that which a father says, because a father is still senior; so, there is fear of him.

The Father explains to you too: Remember Me, your Father! Are you not ashamed that you repeatedly forget Me? The Father tells you directly, and so that affects you quickly. Will you not listen to the Father? The unlimited Father says: Become viceless in this one birth and you will become viceless for 21 births and masters of the pure world. Do you not believe this? The arrow of what the Father says seems stronger. There is a definitely a difference. It isn't that Baba will always continue to meet new ones. Many ask all sorts of wrong questions. It doesn't sit in their intellect because this is something completely new. In the Gita, they mention Krishna's name, but that cannot be. Now, according to the drama, this sits in your intellects. You children come running to Baba: We want to go to Baba and listen to the murli directly. There (at the centres), we listen to it through the brothers and now we want to listen to it from Baba. When the Father speaks it, it has an impact. He speaks to you whilst saying, "Children, children". Children, are you not ashamed that you do not remember the Father? Do you not love the Father? How much do you remember Him? Baba, one hour. If you constantly remember Me, your sins will be cut away. You have a burden of the sins of many births on your heads.

The Father is explaining to you face to face: You have defamed the Father so much, there should be a case filed against you! When someone libels another through the newspapers, a case is filed against that one. The Father now reminds you of the things that you used to do. The Father explains: According to the drama, all of that happened in the company of Ravan. The path of devotion has now ended; it has become the past. There is no one in the middle to stop you. Day by day, whilst coming down, your intellects have become like a buddhu's and tamopradhan. You say that the One you worship is in the pebbles and stones! That is called unlimited senselessness. That is the unlimited senselessness of the unlimited children. On the one side, they worship Shiv Baba and on the other side, they call that Father omnipresent.

You have now remembered: We behaved so senselessly that we defamed our Father. You children have now understood and so you are now making effort to change from beggars to princes. Shri Krishna was a prince of the golden age, and yet people have said of him that he had 16,108 queens and also children. You would now feel ashamed. When a person commits a sin, he pulls his ears and says in front of God: O God, I made a big mistake. Have mercy! Forgive me! You made such a big mistake.

The Father explains: It is like that in the drama. It is only when you become like that, that I can then come. The Father now says: You have to benefit those of all religions. Those of all religions say of the Father who grants everyone salvation that He is omnipresent. Where did they learn this? God speaks: I am not omnipresent. Because of you, the condition of others has also become like yours. They call out: "O Purifier!" but they do not understand.

When we first came from our home, were we impure? We became impure because of having become body conscious. When someone of any religion comes, ask him: Do you have the introduction of the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul? Who is He? Where does He reside? He would either say that He is up above or that He is omnipresent. The Father says: The whole world has now become totally bankrupt because of you. You became the instruments for that. This has to be explained to everyone. Although it happens according to the drama, you still became impure. All are sinful souls. You now call out in order to become pure souls. Those of all religions have to return to their home, the land of liberation. They are pure there. It is also predestined in the drama for the Father to come and explain to you.

This knowledge is for those of all religions. Baba received some news. An acharya (teacher) said: I consider God to be in all of you and bow down to you. Are there that many Gods? They don't understand anything. Those who have not performed a lot of devotion do not survive here. Some stay at a centre for some time, and others for another period of time. You should understand from this that they have performed less devotion, as that is why they don't stay longer. Nevertheless, where would they go? There is no other shop.

What method should be created so that people can understand quickly? The message has to be given to everyone. You have to tell them: Remember the Father. If you cannot remember the Father fully yourself, how would the arrows you shoot strike the target? This is why Baba says: Keep your chart. The main thing is to become pure. The purer you become, the more knowledge you will imbibe and you will also have happiness. You children should have a lot of happiness to uplift everyone. The Father alone comes and grants salvation. There is no question of happiness or sorrow for the Father. This drama is predestined. You should not have any sorrow. You have found the Father, what more do you want? You simply have to follow the Father's directions.

Only at this time do you receive this explanation. You will not receive it in the golden age. There, there is no question of knowledge. You have found the unlimited Father here and so you should have even greater happiness than that of heaven. The Father says: You also have to go abroad and explain this. You have mercy for those of all religions. Everyone says: O God, have mercy! Bless us! Liberate us from sorrow! However, they don't understand anything.

The Father tells you many types of clever ways. You should tell everyone: You are lying in the jail of Ravan. They say that they should have freedom, but no one knows what freedom is. They are all trapped in the jail of Ravan. The Father has now come to give you true freedom. Even then, people are trapped in the jail of Ravan and continue to commit sin.

What is true freedom? You have to tell people this. You can even print in the newspapers: There is no freedom here in the kingdom of Ravan. You should write it in short. No one will be able to understand if you give long explanations. Tell them: You don't have freedom, because you are lying in the jail of Ravan. When your sound spreads abroad, people here will understand quickly. They are all continuously under siege. So, is that freedom? The Father is giving you freedom. He is freeing you from the jail of Ravan.

You know that you are very wealthy and have great freedom there. No one's vision (nazar) can fall on you. When you became weak at the end, everyone's vision fell on your wealth. Mahmud Guznavi came and looted your temple and your freedom was lost because you had become dependent in the kingdom of Ravan.

You are now at the most auspicious confluence age. You are now receiving true freedom. Those people don't understand freedom and so you have to explain this to them tactfully. Only those who attained freedom in the previous cycle will believe you. When you explain to them, they argue so much, as though they are buddhus. They waste your time, and so you don't want to speak to them. The Father comes and gives you freedom. There is a lot of sorrow by depending on Ravan; there is limitless sorrow.

In the Father's kingdom, we are so free. Freedom is when we become pure deities, when we become liberated from the kingdom of Ravan. The Father alone comes and gives you true freedom. Now, all are unhappy in the foreign kingdom. This is the most auspicious confluence age when you receive freedom. Those people say that we became independent when the foreign government left. You now know that you cannot be free until you become pure. Then, there will have to be punishment by the demons of death and your status will also be destroyed. The Father comes to take you back home. There, all are free.

You can explain to those of all religions: You are a soul and have come from the land of liberation to play your part. You have come from the land of happiness to the land of sorrow, the tamopradhan world. The Father says: You are My child. You are not Ravan's child. I went away having given you your fortune of the kingdom. You were so free in your own kingdom. You now have to become pure once again in order to go back there. You become so wealthy. There, there is no need to worry about money. Even though they may be poor, they do not need to worry about money. They remain happy. It is here that there is worry. However, status is numberwise in the kingdom. Not everyone will become like the sun-dynasty kings. However much effort you make, you claim a status accordingly.

You are those who serve those of all religions. You also have to explain to people abroad: All of you are brothers. Everyone resides in the land of peace. You are now in the kingdom of Ravan. We are now going to show you the way home. Consider yourself to be a soul and remember Me.

 People say: God liberates everyone. However, they don't understand how He liberates everyone. When children become confused, they say: Baba, liberate us and take us back home. It is just as when you were confused and lost in the fog and couldn't find the path. Then you found the Liberator who showed you the path. You tell the unlimited Father: Baba, liberate us! Come and we will follow You! No one, except the Father, can show you the path. We used to study so many scriptures and stumble along on pilgrimages. However, if we didn't know God, how could we find Him? If He were omnipresent, how could we find Him? People are in such darkness of ignorance! Only the one Father is the Bestower of Salvation for All. He alone comes and removes you children from the darkness of ignorance. Achcha.

Maturity

As we mature spiritually there is less need to have our self-respect bolstered by praise and special attention. As our thought processes become more compassionate and less self obsessed, we feel increasingly satisfied with ourselves and with our lives. We relate to people more easily and feel no need to draw attention to our successes or complain about our problems.

Specialties

When we come into interaction with others we are concerned with their
negative aspects. We are aware of where they are going wrong and we
try to correct them too. But usually the other person doesn't realize
his mistake. The more we try to emphasize on negativity, the more
difficult it becomes to make the other person realize. On one hand, we
find that he is not benefited and on the other hand, we are filling
ourselves with negativity too. The best business in life is that of
seeing specialties and contributing our own specialties for others'
growth. When we are aware of others' specialties, we are able to
encourage them to use them for growth. Also we are free from
negativity. Further, using our own specialties enriches others and
ourselves too. These specialties are easily available for us at the
time of need, for having used them constantly.

Signs Of Depression And Coming Out Of It

You feel depressed when you lack happiness and optimism about the possibilities that you have and a constantly negative consciousness and vision is produced. You lose hope. In depression you lack an interest in things. You are sensitive to criticisms, even if they are very little. You feel sadness, impatience, a lack of perspectives. You try to reach satisfaction through material means, like, for example, eating too much, eating sweet things, etc.

You get depressed because you remember past errors; because you need the experience of love in life; because you have developed the habit of seeing only the negative in each situation, without sensing that a positive side exists. The imagination behaves in a negative way; it is weakening, depressing and even destructive. Nothing seems attractive to you and you feel unmotivated.

To get out of this state it is important to accept yourself; keep a mental state of a detached observer; don't allow the mind to cling to depressing thoughts and tune it into the positive aspects of life. Sometimes negativity and weakness have overwhelmed you to such a point that in order to get out of that state you need a "bombardment" of positivism: go on a spiritual retreat or holiday to a suitable destination; surround yourself by good company; attend a course of personal development; get out of that state in which you are closed into yourself. Take the step. Nobody can do it for you.

Cooking And Eating With A Spiritual Touch (cont.)

When the subtle, spiritual aspect of cooking is taken into consideration, the role of the cook extends from simply creating tasty, nourishing meals with fresh ingredients, to including a spiritual connection with those who will be eating that food. The aim will be to touch and fill the heart as well as the stomach. The love of the cook, and his or her motivation to offer sustenance, will nourish as much as the physical components of each dish. Food cooked by a person who is angry, depressed or full of arrogance or hatred will have a different effect from food cooked with feelings of love, peace and the pure desire to serve. In other words, we are what we eat but also the thoughts, feelings and attitudes that go into what we are eating. Even in today’s hectic lifestyle, when there sometimes seems to be hardly enough time to cook, let alone do so peacefully and caringly, it is therefore definitely beneficial to develop a positive attitude towards cooking. Before undertaking any food preparation, remind yourself that the task at hand can and should be an enjoyable and creative activity or experience, rather than an unpleasant, time-consuming activity. A good practice, then, is to meditate before cooking and then to let preparing the meal itself be a creative, meditative experience which yields a balanced, health-promoting diet for the body as a temple for the soul deity. Food always tastes better when it has been flavored or with love and happiness.

Message for the day

True fortune comes to the one who recognises and uses his treasures with an honest heart.
Projection: Sometimes we might be faced with certain situations where we find that we are not very fortunate. We find ourselves thinking about all those things that we need to have in order for us to be able to bring a positive outcome. Because of this kind of thinking, we tend to miss out on perceiving those treasures that we can make use of.

Solution: There are a lot of treasures within us that we can use in our practical life. These treasures could be our talents, skills, or some specialities of ours. Under all circumstances we need to have an awareness of these treasures. When we are aware of them we will begin to use them in our daily life instead of just expecting things to happen right. This is what will create a good fortune for us.

Essence:    Sweet children, all your desires are now being fulfilled and your stomachs are becoming full. The Father has come to make you into fully satisfied souls

Question:   You children no longer perform devotion and yet, how are you definitely still devotees?

Answer:     For as long as you have body consciousness, you are devotees. You are studying to become knowledgeable. When you pass your examinations and become karmateet, you will be called completely knowledgeable. There will then be no need to study.  

Essence for dharna:

1.      You have to become fully satisfied and have a broad and unlimited intellect so that your vision is not drawn to anything else. Let there be no desires in your heart because all of this is to be destroyed.

2.      While performing actions for the livelihood of your body, let the mercury of happiness always remain high. Remember the Father and the inheritance. Remove the intellect from the limited and always keep it in the unlimited.

Blessing:    May you become trikaldarshi (knower of the three aspects of time), by using the blessing of a divine intellect and be filled with success.

BapDada has given every child the blessing of a divine intellect. It is only with a divine intellect that you can clearly know the Father, your own self and the three aspects of time and also imbibe all powers. Before putting any thought into words or practice, a soul with a divine intellect would be aware of the three aspects of time of every word and deed and then put it into the practical form. The past and future will be just as clear as the present in front of such a soul. Because of being trikaldarshi, those with divine intellects are constantly filled with success.

Baba says, when you take the divine and alokik Brahmin birth, you are gifted with the third eye of knowledge, which makes you trikaaldarshi, the knowers of the three aspects of time. Think about the consequences of your actions before performing them and modify the accordingly. Because of having divine intellects and a clear connection with the Father, the future performance is as clear to you as is the past and the present. Therefore, you will be successful, as forewarned is forearmed.

Purity is reality...purity is royalty... the authority of purity is the greatest personality... purity is the foundation, the original religion and the most elevated decoration of Brahmin life... purity is the mother of peace and happiness....By making the dharma of purity our personal dharna in life, we, the souls, become great...by imbibing purity, we experience super sensuous joy, sweet silence and supreme bliss...

Om shanti. There are two things: God and the devotees,(Bhagvaan aur bhakt)  children and the Father. There are many devotees, but only one God. You children find these things very easy. Souls perform devotion through their bodies. Why? To meet God, the Father. You devotees have now understood the drama. When you become completely knowledgeable souls, you won't remain here. When you pass an examination whilst studying at school, you go to the next class. God is now teaching you. Knowledgeable souls have no need to study. God is teaching devotees. You know that we souls used to perform devotion. The Father is teaching us how we can move away from devotion and come into knowledge. We don't perform devotion now, but we still become body conscious. You understand that those devotees don't even know God. They themselves say: We do not know. The Father also asks those who were number one devotees: Did you know the God whose devotees you were? In fact, there should be only one God. Here, there are so many Gods. They continue to call themselves God! That is called ignorance. There is extreme darkness in devotion. That is the path of devotion. Devotees sing: When the Satguru gives the ointment of knowledge, the darkness of ignorance is dispelled. (gyan anjan Satguru diya, agyan andher vinaash)Gurus cannot give the ointment of knowledge. There are many gurus. You children know what you used to do in devotion, whom you used to remember and whom you used to worship. You have now become free from that darkness of devotion because you now know the Father. The Father has given you His introduction. Sweetest children, you are souls. You play your parts through those bodies. Your knowledge is unlimited. You continue to play unlimited parts. You have left the limited and gone into the unlimited. This world (population) has also become unlimited whilst expanding, and it will then definitely become limited. You children now know how you go from the limited into the unlimited and the unlimited into the limited. A soul is like a tiny star. People understand this and yet they make such a huge lingam image. What can they do, because they cannot worship a tiny point? They say: "A star shines in the centre of the forehead," (Bhrakuti ke beech chamakta sitaara)but how can they worship that star? No one knows God, but they know about the soul. The soul resides in the centre of the forehead; that's all! It doesn't enter their intellects that a soul takes a body and plays his part. You were the first ones who performed worship; you used to make huge lingams. People continue to make bigger and bigger images of Ravan day by day. They cannot make smaller images of Ravan. Human beings are at first small and then they become big. They never show Ravan as small. He doesn't become big or small. He is not a physical thing. The five vices are called Ravan. There is growth of the five vices because people continue to become tamopradhan. Previously, there wasn't so much body consciousness, but it has continued to increase. They worship one and then worship another, and it has continued to grow in that way. Souls have become tamopradhan. The intellects of no other human beings in the world are aware of when they are satopradhan and when they become tamopradhan. People are completely ignorant of these things. Knowledge is not difficult. The Father comes and gives you completely easy knowledge. He teaches you that. Even then, there is just the essence (tant) of the study that remains. We souls are children of the Father.

We have to remember the Father. It is also remembered that only a handful out of multimillions emerged. (koto men koi) Only a handful out of multimillions know the Father accurately. They ask: Can the Father be like that? Everyone knows their father, so why have they forgotten the Father? This is called the game of the maze. (bhool bhulaiya) One is a limited father and the other is the unlimited Father. You receive an inheritance from the two fathers; you receive a small inheritance from a limited father. Day by day, it gradually becomes very little; it is as though it is nothing. Until the unlimited Father comes, your stomachs cannot become full. Your stomachs become completely empty. The Father comes and fills your stomachs. In every aspect, He fills your stomachs in such a way that you children no longer need anything. He fulfils all your desires and you become fully satisfied souls, just as a (departed) soul becomes satisfied when the brahmin priest is fed. This is unlimited satisfaction. (behad ki trupti)Look how much difference there is! Look how much difference there is between the limited satisfaction of souls and the unlimited satisfaction of souls. By knowing the Father you become satisfied because the Father is making you into the masters of heaven. You children know that you are children of the unlimited Father. Everyone remembers the Father. Even though some people say that this is nature (the elements) and that they will merge into the brahm element, the Father has told you that no one can merge into the brahm element. This is the eternal drama which continues to turn. There is no need at all to become confused about this. The cycle of the four ages continues to turn; it will continue to repeat identically. There is just the one Father and also only one world. Those people beat their heads so much and think that there is a world on the moon or in the stars. They look for that so much. They even think of buying a plot of land on the moon, but how would that be possible? Whom would they pay? That is called the arrogance of science. However, there is nothing really there. People continue to try to do things, but that is the pomp of Maya. They have even greater show than that of heaven. They have completely forgotten heaven. There was limitless wealth in heaven. Look how much wealth they took away from just the one temple! There was so much wealth in Bharat alone. All the treasure-stores were overflowing. Mahmud Gaznavi came and looted everything. You remain powerful for half the cycle and there is no mention of stealing etc. There is no kingdom of Ravan at that time. As soon as the kingdom of Ravan begins, the stealing, looting and fighting etc. (chori chakaari ladaai) begin. People mention the name of Ravan, but Ravan is not a being: that is just the existence of the vices. Look what people do for Ravan; they celebrate so much. You too used to celebrate Dashera, burning an effigy of Ravan. People used to go and see how they burn an effigy of Ravan and then they would go to loot the gold. What was that? You now wonder about all of those things. Look what you became and how much worshipping you used to do. When they have a big day, look what they continue to do. The path of devotion is like playing with dolls and you know for how long it continues. They didn't do so much in the beginning. Then, expansion gradually took place, and look what the condition has now become! Why do they spend so much money on pictures and building temples? All of that is a waste of money. They spend hundreds of thousands of rupees on building temples etc. The Father sits here and explains to you with so much love: I gave you children so much wealth. So, where did you lose it all? Look what you have become in the kingdom of Ravan from what you were! It isn't that you have to remain happy thinking that it is the will of God. That is not the will of God; that is the will of Maya. You are now receiving your fortune of the kingdom of God where there is no question of sorrow. It is now that you receive the understanding of how much difference there is between God's will and Maya's will, but that too is numberwise, according to your efforts. You can understand which ones receive the injection of knowledge. So-and-so has been injected with the injection of knowledge well; so-and-so has been injected less and so-and-so has not been injected at all. Only Baba knows this. Everything depends on your service. It is only through service that Baba will tell you: This one has not been injected at all; he doesn't know how to do service at all. There are also some who have been injected with knowledge more, whereas others are not injected at all. It is said: When the Satguru gives the ointment of knowledge, the darkness of ignorance is dispelled. The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is the Ocean of Knowledge and the Ocean of Happiness. People have then said that He is in the pebbles and stones. You children should have so much faith that the unlimited Father is giving you unlimited happiness. You sing: Unlimited Baba, when You come, we will belong to You and we will only follow Your directions. On the path of devotion, you don't even know the Father. This part is only performed at this time. It is only now that the Father teaches you. You know that this part of studying will continue again after 5000 years. The Father will come again after 5000 years. All souls are brothers and then they adopt bodies and play their parts. The human world also continues to grow. There is a stock of souls. Just as the stock of human beings comes to an end, to that extent there will be a stock of souls there. There cannot be one more or one less actor. All of you are unlimited actors. You have all received eternal parts. This is wonderful! You children have now become so sensible. This study is so elevated. It is the Father, the Ocean of Knowledge, Himself, who is teaching you. All the rest are oceans of devotion. Just as there is respect for devotion, so there is also respect for knowledge. People make so many donations and perform so much charity on the path of devotion in the name of God. This is because such big Vedas and scriptures are created. You children have now received understanding of the difference between devotion and knowledge. Such a broad and unlimited intellect is needed. Your vision would never be drawn to anyone. Would you say: I want to see the king or queen? What is there to see in them? You don't have any desires in your hearts. All of this is going to be destroyed. Whatever everyone has, it is going to be destroyed. The stomach only wants two chapattis, but people commit so much sin even for that. At this time, there is nothing but sin in the world. The stomach makes you commit a lot of sin. People continue to slander others. They even earn a lot of money. They hide so much money, but what can the Government do? However, no matter how much someone may try to hide it, it cannot remain hidden. There will now also be natural calamities. Only a little more time remains. The Father says: You can do whatever you want for the livelihood of your body. You are not forbidden to do that. The mercury of happiness of you children should always remain high. Always remember the Father and the inheritance. The Father is making you into the masters of the whole world. All the earth and sky will belong to you; there are no limitations then. You children know that you were the masters. Bharat is remembered as the imperishable land. You children should have a lot of happiness. There is also happiness in a limited study, but this is the unlimited study that the unlimited Father is teaching you. You should remember such a Father. You children can understand what this physical business is. It is nothing at all whereas what is the inheritance we receive from the Father? There is the difference of day and night. While continuing with your worldly business, you can still claim a double crown. The Father has come to teach you children and so you should remain happy. You have to continue to do all the other work too. You understand that this is an old world. All preparations are being made for its destruction. They perform such acts that there is fear of a big war starting. All of that has to happen according to the drama. It isn't that God is making it happen; it is fixed in the drama. If not today, then tomorrow, destruction has to take place. You are now studying. A new world is definitely needed for you. You should remember these things and become happy inside. Baba has taken this chariot, but he doesn't have anything; he renounced everything. What would I do with this when I am receiving the unlimited sovereignty? Baba also had a song composed: When the first one found Allah, what would he do with this "donkeyship?" He gave away everything he had, more or less, and wound everything up completely. He even gave his body to Baba. Oho, I am going to become a master of the world! I have become a master many times. It is so easy! You may live at home but consider yourself to be a soul and remember the Father. Achcha.

Great souls take advantage of every moment and every opportunity to give happiness to others through kindness in their thoughts; such souls are willing to overlook weaknesses and mistakes and have the desire to help everyone reach their potential.

Move Forward

When we are faced with a problem, we are caught up with the negative
aspect of it we continue to look at the negativity of the present or of
the past. There is also a fear for the future. Although we know all
situations are temporary, at that time we are not able to rise above
the situation. Instead of thinking only about the negative aspect of
the situation, we need to think about what we have to do to correct the
situation. Once we find a solution and bring it into action, we can
think about what learning we can take from the past situation. We can
then move forward more powerfully towards the future.

Effort To Manipulate The Law Of Action (Karma)

Human laws can be adjusted, manipulated and even ignored by some, but no one can do the same with the Law of Karma. On the physical level, there is no time interval between an action and its reaction. If I throw an object in the air, it falls back immediately with the same force. With the Law of Karma, however, there can be a delay between the action and its result or fruit. The seeds of certain actions (negative or positive) bring immediate fruit. Others can take years or even many births to bear fruit. If I eat too much ice-cream, I will see the result or karmic effect of the negative karma of greed within a space of ten-fifteen minutes in the form of a headache or after two days in the form of a cold and flu. This is an e.g. in which we realize the working of the Law of Karma, we realize clearly the cause and its effect, but on a subtle level, when we see the effects of actions, we do not realize that the cause may have actually been in a previous life. There is a total connection between the cause and the effect.

When we analyze a natural calamity such as a major earthquake that uproots buildings and trees, overturns vehicles and kills thousands of people. The physical cause may be tectonic activity associated with faults inside the earth's surface but at the same time, we realize that such a calamity could have its roots in a process initiated by human beings a few hours, days or months ago - an e.g. being testing of nuclear weapons. On a personal level, I can say that there is nothing which happens to me for which I am not responsible. Whether I remember what I did to make it happen or not, whether I realize it or choose to ignore it, I am ultimately responsible.

Cooking and Eating with a Spiritual Touch

Nowadays, we are continuously bombarded with details about the physical aspects of what we eat and the effects that different ingredients may or may not have on us, and naturally this is important. But in this heap of information, we tend to overlook one crucial factor: the consciousness (state of mind) of the person cooking and the effect that this will have upon the food, and thus also on those who eat it. A cook not only prepares food in a physical place, but also in a spiritual or inner space. And just as the physical surroundings are best kept clean and in order, so should be the state of mind of those in the kitchen. A simple and familiar example of this concept at work can be seen in the way that home cooking, especially that of one’s mother, holds a special place in our hearts. The love and care with which it is prepared sometimes gives us more joy than perhaps food eaten in a restaurant setting where food may be prepared with greater cooking and technical skills but where negative emotions related like anxiety, arrogance, stress, and greed (in the business like restaurant environment) may affect the energy of the food cooked over there, on a subtle or vibrational (non-physical) level.

Message for the day

The one who is detached is the one who is happy.

Projection: When difficult situations come our way we tend to overreact because of our attachment and expectations. Because of this we experience much more unhappiness than what the situation actually holds. The understanding lacks that it is not the situation, but our own thoughts that are giving us sorrow.

Solution: We need to look at the situation just as we would watch it happen to someone else - with detachment. When we learn to detach ourselves from the situation in this way and see what it holds for us, we will not experience unhappiness but will be able to remain happy under all circumstances.
