Let Go and Let Love

Just as the bird has to let go of the branch in order to fly,
in the same way we also need to let go to experience and express love. The branches we hold on to are our attachments (people and objects). When we mentally hold on to something or someone, we open ourselves to feel fear, pain, anger and possessiveness

Love is about letting go and letting others be. It's about appreciating and accepting without dependency and expectation.

 

Uniqueness

There is usually a tendency to want to be recognized by others and we
try hard to make our actions such that others are pleased with whatever
we do. Sometimes we do succeed, but at other times when we do not get
any positive response from the others, we then tend to become
disheartened. We need to recognize our own uniqueness and remember it
consciously in everything that we do. We need to recognize the fact
that there is no human being without any specialty. We too have a
specialty, which makes us special. Using this unique quality of ours
will bring specialty in our actions too.

Experiencing Freedom In Relationships

How much are you influenced by what others think of you and how they see you? The degree to which you act on the basis of what you think others want and expect of you, allows them to have power over your inner and outer world.

Important aspects are how you think others see you, how you want them to see you and how you see yourself. The person who is not conditioned by how others see them, and doesn't even think about how they would like to be seen, but who rather is comfortable with themselves, has a presence that generates comfort. Others feel fine around that person.

Let us learn to free ourselves from the conditionings that generate the thinking of how we want others to see us. Let us feel the freedom to let ourselves be how we want to be.

Try it and you will see that the results are amazing. That way, as you go along, you will take off the masks that you wear due to the fears of what others will say and think.

The Power To Pack Up (cont.)


As I progress on my spiritual journey, even thoughts that waste the precious resources of the mind come to be seen as a barrier. Turning a scene over in my mind repeatedly is an example of waste, that will rob me of the mental concentration and emotional stability I need to keep moving forward. Sometimes we do get stuck, like a broken record, in such mental grooves, without realizing what we are doing.

The power of pack up means I recognize the damage caused by such waste, and put an end to it. As I renew the awareness of myself as a soul, in relationship with the Supreme Soul, the needle of my attention is lifted above the groove, letting me come fully into the present.

I also learn to be selective in what I choose to remember or forget from the past. This is not dishonest; in fact, it is being honest to my task. Human beings in any case have highly selective memories. We not only see and understand differently, according to our individual interests and agendas, but our attitudes and perception also determine the memories we choose to store.

Meditation enables me to exercise this option quite deliberately, picking up those scenes from the past that nourish me and help me move forward, and rejecting memories that pollute my mind and slow me down.
 

Message for the day

The one who gives constantly is a true bestower.

Projection: We usually find ourselves giving only to those who give to us. When someone gives us love or happiness, we too are inspired to give. So we find that unless we get from others, it becomes difficult to give.

Solution: We need to have the aim of not letting anyone go from us empty handed. That means we give them an experience of love or happiness or whatever they need at that time. When we have that aim, we will be able to give even when we don't get anything. And then, we find that only when we give do we get.

Essence:   Sweet children, this Brahma is the court (darbaar) of the Satguru. The Satguru is present in the centre of this forehead. He is the One who grants you salvation.

Question: From what type of slavery has the Father come to free you children?

Answer:     At this time, all the children have become enslaved by nature and Maya. The Father now frees you from this slavery. Both Maya and nature now cause you distress. Sometimes, there are storms, sometimes famine. Later you will become such masters that the whole of nature will become your slave and there will be no attacks of Maya.

 

Essence for dharna:

1       Only listen to that which the Father tells you and judge what is right. Only remember that which is right. Do not listen to, speak about or look at unrighteous things.

2.      Study well and make yourself a king of kings. Consider yourself to be only temporarily in that old body and this old world.

 

Blessing: May you be a special soul who comes away from the world of forgetfulness,(vismriti)  remains an embodiment of remembrance (smriti swaroop) and plays a hero part.

This confluence age is the age of remembrance and the iron age is the age of forgetfulness. All of you have come away from the world of forgetfulness. Those who are embodiments of remembrance are special souls who play hero parts. At this time, you are double heroes: firstly, you have become as valuable as diamonds (hiro diamond) and secondly, you have hero parts. So, let this song of the heart constantly play: Wah my elevated fortune! Just as you remember the occupation of your body, similarly remember your imperishable occupation that you are an elevated soul and you will then be said to be a special soul.

Baba says, you are a valuable diamond. In this confluence age of remembrance, remain constantly stable in the zero stage, and play hero parts with the Zero Father... you are the special souls and the decorations of the world,  the  hero actors in the world drama, playing a special part.. become a zero, that is, an embodiment of remembrance,  and maintain the awareness of your hero part. The pun is on the word hero.

 

Slogan: Take the first step of courage and move forward and you will receive complete help from the Father.

By taking one step of courage, we get a thousand steps of help from the Father...Children who maintain courage, receive help from the Father.. By being with the Father, the Helper and receiving extra help, we fly and make others fly on the wings of keenness, zeal, zest, enthusiasm, courage and enterprise in any difficult task...

You sweetest, spiritual children understand that Baba is the Supreme Father as well as the Supreme Teacher. He explains to you the secrets of the beginning, the middle and the end of the world. He is also the Supreme Guru. Therefore, this is the court of the Satguru. There are courts, courts of gurus. Those are courts of just gurus, not the Satguru. They call themselves Shri, Shri 108, but "Satguru" is not written as part of their title. They are simply called gurus whereas that One is the Satguru. First, He is the Father, then the Teacher and then the Satguru. It is the Satguru who grants salvation. There are no gurus in the golden and silver ages because everyone there is in salvation. When the one Satguru is found, name and trace of all other gurus finishes. The Supreme Guru is the Guru of all gurus. Just as you call Him the Husband of all husbands,(Pation ka Pati) so He has been given this title because He is highest of all. You are sitting here with the Supreme Father. For what reason? To claim your unlimited inheritance. This is an unlimited inheritance. He is the Father as well as your Teacher and this inheritance is for the new world, the land of immortality, the viceless world. The new world is called the viceless world whereas the old world is called the vicious world. The golden age is called the Temple of Shiva because it is established by Shiv Baba. The vicious world is established by Ravan. You are now sitting in the court of the Satguru. Only you children know this. The Father is the Ocean of Peace. It is only when the Father comes that He can give you your inheritance of peace and show you the path. How can peace be found in the jungles? This is why the example of the queen's necklace is given. Peace is the garland around the neck of you souls. Then, when the kingdom of Ravan begins, there is peacelessness. That is called the land of peace and happiness where there is no question of sorrow. It is the Satguru who is always praised. You would never have heard such praise of a guru. Only that one Father is the Ocean of Knowledge. Have you ever heard such praise of a guru? No, those gurus cannot be the Purifier of the whole world. Only the incorporeal One, the great unlimited Baba, can be called that. You are now at the confluence age. On the one side, there is the impure, old world and on the other side, there is the pure, new world. There are many gurus in the impure world. Previously, you didn't know about the confluence age. The Father has now explained that this is the most auspicious confluence age. After this, the golden age will come; the cycle continues to turn. You have to keep it in your intellects that you are all brothers. Therefore, you would surely receive your inheritance from the unlimited Father. No one knows about this. There are many people with important positions, but they don't know anything. The Father says: I grant salvation to all of you. You have now become sensible. Previously, you didn't know anything. You used to go in front of the deity idols and say: We are senseless, we have no virtues, have mercy for us! Now, would those deity idols have mercy for anyone? They don't know who is merciful. People even say: 0 God, the Father, have mercy for us! They definitely remember the Father when any sorrowful incident takes place. You no longer say this. The Father is the One without an image. He is sitting in front of you. That is why He says "Namaste" to you. All of you have an image (chitrdhaari) whereas I am without an image.(Vichitr) I never adopt an image. Tell Me the name of My image! You would say "Shiv Baba", that's all. I have taken this body on loan and it is the oldest of old shoes, I come and enter this one. This body is not praised. This is an old body. Is he praised because he is adopted? No. The Father says: This one used to be like that and he will become beautiful again through Me. The Father now says: Judge whether whatever I tell you is right and, if so, remember that which is right. Only listen to that One. Do not listen to anything unrighteous. That is called evil. Speak no evil! See no evil! Forget everything you see through those eyes. You now have to return to your home and you will then go back to your land of happiness. All the rest are as though they are dead. They are here temporarily. Neither will this old body remain nor will this old world exist. We are making effort to go to the new world. Then this world history and geography will repeat. You are claiming your fortune of that kingdom. You know that the Father comes every cycle to give you your fortune of the kingdom. You also say that you met Baba a cycle ago, that you claimed your inheritance from Him and changed from an ordinary human into Narayan. However, it is not possible for everyone to claim the same status; all are numberwise. This is a spiritual university and it is the spiritual Father who is teaching you. Some children also teach. The son of the principal of a school would also become busy in that service. His wife would also start to teach. If their daughter studies well she too can teach. However, she then goes to another home. It is not a general rule here for a daughter to have a job. To claim a status in the new world depends entirely on this study. People of the world do not know these things. It is written: God speaks: (Bhagwaanuvaach)" 0 children, I am making you into kings of kings.(rajaaon ke raja) I do not make you into models like those of the deities. You study and claim that status here. Those people make stone idols for worshipping. You souls study here and carry those sanskars with you. Then, you will go and take bodies in the new world. The world is never really destroyed, only the ages change: golden age, silver age, copper age, iron age. 16 degrees are reduced to 14 degrees. It is the same world that continues; from new, it becomes old. The Father is making you into kings of kings through this study. No one else has the power to teach in this way. He explains to you so clearly. Then, while you are studying, Maya makes you belong to her. Nevertheless, according to how much one studies, they will definitely go to heaven; their income will not disappear. This imperishable knowledge cannot be destroyed. They will come later; where else could they go? There is only the one shop. They will continue to come. When people go to a cremation ground, they have great distaste. They have such thoughts as: Will I have to leave this body in this way? Then, why should I commit sin? I will die just like this while continuing to sin. They have such thoughts. That is known as distaste while in a graveyard. Although they understand that they will have to take another body, they have no knowledge. Here, it is explained to you children that, at this time, you are especially preparing to die because you are only here temporarily. You have to shed your old bodies and go to the new world. The Father says: Children, the more you remember Me, the more your sins will be cut away. It is the easiest of all, and yet also the most difficult. When you children begin to make effort, you understand that there is a huge battle with Maya. The Father says: It is easy, but Maya extinguishes your lamp. There is a story about Gul Bakawali. Maya, the cat, extinguishes your lamp. Here, all are slaves of Maya. You then make Maya your slave. The whole of nature comes under your control. There will be no storms, no famine. You have to make nature your slave. There, there will be no attack from Maya. She now harasses you a great deal. There is a song: I am your slave. Then Maya says: You are my slave. The Father says: I have now come to free you from that slavery. You will become the masters and Maya will become your slave. Then, there will not be the slightest disturbance. This is also fixed in the drama. You say: Baba, Maya causes great distress. Why should she not cause you distress? This is called a battlefield. You try to make Maya your slave and Maya hits you hard. She harasses you a great deal; she defeats so many of you. She eats up some completely; she swallows them whole. Although you are becoming the masters of heaven, Maya continues to eat you. It is as though some of you are still in her stomach and just your tails are sticking out. That is also called a bog, a quicksand. So many children are in that bog. They are not able to have the slightest remembrance. There are the examples of the tortoise and the buzzing moth. You can buzz the knowledge to such insects and make them into something else, into complete angels of heaven (swarg ke parizaade) from what they are. Although sannyasis also give the example of the buzzing moth, they don't buzz knowledge and transform anyone. This transformation takes place at the confluence age. This is now the confluence age in which you become Brahmins from shudras. Therefore, you bring vicious human beings here. Among those insects too, some change into buzzing moths, some decay and some remain incomplete. Baba has seen many like that. Here, too, when some study very well they develop wings of knowledge whereas Maya catches hold of others half way and so they remain weak. These examples relate to the present time. It is a wonder how a buzzing moth brings an insect and makes it similar to itself. That is the only insect that can make others similar to itself. The other example given is that of the snake. In the golden age you shed one skin and take another; you instantly have a vision that you will now leave that body. The soul leaves and goes and sits in the palace of another womb. There is also the example of a soul in the palace of a womb who did not want to come out. However, the baby definitely has to come out. You children are now at the confluence age. You are becoming elevated through this knowledge. You have been performing devotion for birth after birth. Those who have done the most devotion will come and claim a status, numberwise, according to their efforts. The entire knowledge is now in your intellects. The knowledge of the scriptures is not really knowledge. That is the path of devotion; you cannot receive salvation through that. To receive salvation means to return home. No one returns home through that. The Father Himself says: No one attains Me through that. Along with the One who teaches you, you also need the One who can take you back with Him. The Father has so much concern. The Father only comes once every 5000 years to teach you. You repeatedly forget that you are a soul. Make it very firm that the Father of all souls has come to teach you. This is called spiritual knowledge. The Supreme Spirit gives us spirits knowledge. Sanskars also remain within the soul whereas the body is destroyed. Souls are imperishable. The forehead of Brahma is the court of the Satguru. This is the court of this soul. Then the Satguru also enters this one. This one is called the chariot as well as the court. You children are opening the gates of heaven on the basis of shrimat. The better you study, the higher the status you will claim in the golden age. Therefore, you should study. The children of a teacher would be very clever. However, it is said that those who have the Ganges flowing by their home do not have regard for it. Baba has seen how the rubbish of the whole city is dumped into the Ganges. So, then, would you call it the Purifier? Just look what the intellects of human beings have become! They decorate the deity idols. They worship them and then sink them. They also sink a Krishna idol and that too with great disrespect. In Bengal, they hold the idol down with their feet in order to sink it. There used to be a custom in Bengal that when someone was about to leave his body, he would quickly be taken to the Ganges. There, he would be placed in the water and told to say "Hari, Hari" (to chant the name of God), as they continued to pour the water of the Ganges down his throat. In that way they would force the life out of his body. It was a wonder! You children now have the full knowledge of ascending and descending (chadhhaai aur utraai) in your intellects, numberwise, according to the efforts you make. Achcha.

Paint a little Peace
Values are those things, both tangible and intangible, which we care about the most. Most of us demonstrate by our actions that our values are mostly tangible or material. But if we were to reflect for a moment we might find that what we truly value is very intangible. Love, peace and happiness are our deepest values whether we are aware of it or not. So let's experiment. If peace is something you value, then how will you live peacefully today. You experience what you live. So if you want peace in your life...give it and you'll live it. Or do you prefer a bit of anger and stress? We are all artists and it's only when we paint our own life with the innate values of our spirit, which are also our eternal virtues, that we are truly creative. Paint a little peace, love and wisdom into your life today. If you do, and you make it a regular inner activity, the giving is automatic and the living is...easy!

Special

We do pay special attention to perform actions that are special, but
not always can we perform such elevated actions that we wish to. We
tend to get caught up in the daily mundane things. So in routine life,
there is not a real experience of the specialty that is there within.
The aim is not to perform only actions that are special, but we also
need to pay special attention to make all our actions special. This can
happen when we recognize our own specialty and allow that specialty to
be revealed even in the simplest action of ours.

Understanding The Mechanism Of The Virtue Of Peace (cont.)

To experience the eternal peace of the soul world, I do the simple exercise explained yesterday and then go a step further. Having created the thought about myself that I am a sparkling star-like energy at the centre of the forehead, just above the eyebrows, visualized it and as a result experienced it, now my objective is visualizing my star like form in the soul world. With this objective in mind, I now create a simple thought that I the star-like energy will make a short journey to the soul world and back. So I create simple thoughts and visualize alongside that I, the soul am leaving my physical body and flying outside. Then I, see my star like form, slowly fly past the ceiling of the room I am in and see myself suspended in the sky (night sky makes the visualization more easy). I see myself as a point of radiant light high above many many buildings and lights. This is similar to what one would see from an aeroplane window while landing or taking off. I then see my light form going higher, past the atmosphere and going past a sea of stars and a few planets and the moon. I then take this visualization further and see myself entering the soul world, a region of soft orange-red light (this is similar to how it looks like at dusk). This region is multidimensional and unlimited in size or expanse. I see my star-like form suspended in this region, radiating rays of peace in all directions. I also see other white/golden star-like souls just like me in the same region. I spend some time in this region, in this experience. In this region my thoughts stop completely and I am only visualizing.

This is the eternal peace experienced whilst visualizing the spiritual self in the soul world. The peace experienced in this exercise is greater than in the exercise mentioned yesterday. Thus the sanskara of peace created in the soul in this exercise is deeper. After a few minutes of this experience, I see myself descending in the physical body in exactly the same way as I flew to the soul world. This is just a visualization exercise or experience and the soul does not actually leave the body and go anywhere.The two practical exercises explained in yesterday's and today's message can be used to experience the two types of peace mentioned. At one time, you can choose to either experience both types or only the first one. You can start with a few minutes and increase the time gradually. Continuous practice will create stronger sanskaras of peace and take you closer to your original state of peace.

The Power To Pack Up

On the path of meditation, I am a traveler, on a magnificent journey. I have to make some firm choices about I what will take with me on this journey. To pack up means to learn the lessons of the present, then to move on, letting the past be past. It means not carrying the baggage of the past into my present and future, but traveling lightly from one day to the next, keeping only what is most useful to me. That way, I'll enjoy the journey more, and move faster in the direction of my choice.

I'll also be lighter in my relationships. The power to pack up enables me to fill each exchange I have with others with freshness and newness, instead of allowing influences from past encounters with them to affect my present attitude and behaviour. When I carry emotional or intellectual baggage from the past into my present dealings with an individual, I don't give that person the opportunity to express himself freely: my attitude colours him with the paint of my previous experience. It is important to process the past, and learn from experience, but then finish it, so it does not block my view of how things are today.

Meditation helps me to acquire that discipline of finishing negative and wasteful thoughts i.e. inculcate the power to pack up. As the habit of self-observation develops, it doesn't take long to understand how negative thoughts and feelings literally negate my central aim, of re-emerging my true nature. Negativity drains the battery of the soul faster than anything else does.

Message for the day

To be responsible for each thought, word and action is to be free from questions.

Projection: When we are faced with challenges we usually put the blame on others or on situations. We justify our thoughts, words and actions. We, then, tell ourselves and others that we have been forced to think that way or say and do such a thing. Such thinking creates a series of questions in our mind about others and situations for which we can never find answers.

Solution: We need to recognize the fact that no one or nothing can force us to do something that we do not want to do. Each and everything we do is our own choice and we are responsible for it. When we take up the responsibility in this way, we will not only be free from waste questions and doubts but will also be able to mould our thoughts, words and actions in the right way.

Synopsis: December 05, 1978

The original sanskars of your birth in which you have died alive are your first awareness and first promise.

Marjeeva janm ka neeji sanskar-pehli smriti aur pahla bol

 

First Awareness: The sanskar of this life in which you have died alive is, "Wah re mai". The original sanskar of your birth, the first awareness of your birth, and first words of this birth, are, "I am an elevated Brahmin soul". To become a Brahmin means to become an embodiment of power.

 

First Promise:  When you became a child of the Father, when you died alive, The Father made you promise and you accepted. The Father said: Let go of the vicious sanskars of a shudra, and so you removed the costume of vicious sanskars of the soul and put on the divine costume of Godly sanskars. You transformed all impure vision and attitude, the indications of a shudra, and you adopted the special signs of a pure attitude and vision, and thereby claimed a right to the most elevated of all relationships and prosperity. Elevated souls would never think of taking back something they have dropped or renounced, just as royal children never pick up anything that has been dropped or thrown away.

What else did you promise? That you will live with Baba, return home with Baba, eat and drink with Baba. You now have to go beyond attachment and have a state of surrender. When you have surrendered yourself, attachment becomes like a trace. When you consider yourself to be a trustee, you are free from bondage. If there is any consciousness of "mine", you become caged. So, you will now stay together and return home together.

 

Final Offering: Baba will take the final sacrifice of the determined thoughts of every child. When there is a sacrificial fire (yagya), the final offering (antim aahuti) is the prasad (holy offering). As well as giving others the Father's introduction, you will also enable them to experience the prasad of having a glimpse or an experience of the Father. On the basis of your power and especially with the attraction of your merciful thoughts, distribute to weak souls the prasad of attainment and experience. As well as this, create a special group of mahavirs whose minds have the determination to reveal themselves as practical embodiments of janijananhar (knowers of all secrets) and karanhar (one who does something himself). This offering will open the gates of returning home. Only when you have the determination to offer such a final offering will the transformation ceremony take place.

 

Effort:

1.   In order to gain victory over all obstacles, all types of adverse situations and calamities of impure nature in a second, you simply have to have faith in and intoxication of one thing. It is, "Wah re myself!" (The wonder of I!).

2.   You have become janijananhar (knowers of all secrets), but you now have to become karanhar (one who does something himself).

3.   With your own self-respect and elevated awareness, become an embodiment of power of the elevated life. You must not let go of your dharna.

4.   Become an elevated being; become an elevated actor and play the game of being elevated.

5.   Sow the seed of knowledge in this expansion and prepare the Father's garden of the flowers from the previous cycle.

6.   Let the Ganges of knowledge flow from every place.

7.   Remain constantly happy whilst remembering your fortune: "Wah my fortune!" Constantly sing this song in your mind?: "Wah Baba, wah drama and wah my part!"

 

Bondage:

Let there be no bondage of the body or bodily relations. Those who are in bondage remain bound down here, whereas those who are free from bondage can fly high above. Any bondage is a cage. You have to fulfil your responsibilities (farz adaai) in name, not with attachment. Only then will you be called free from bondage.

When you consider yourself to be a trustee, you are free from bondage. If there is any consciousness of "mine", you become caged. There should be no bondage in your mind. "What can I do?" "How can I do this?" "I want to do this, but am unable to do it". This too is bondage of your mind. If you are unable to do something when you want to, then you are weak. Therefore, become free from this bondage too. This is known as being free from bondage. Children means those who are free from bondage. If you still consider yourself to be in your past life, then that is bondage. If you have died alive, then you are free from bondage.

 

Blessing:     May you be constantly carefree with the happiness and intoxication of your imperishable and unlimited rights.

People in the world claim a right after making a lot of effort, whereas you have received a right without making any effort. To become a child means to claim a right. "Wah, I the elevated soul with all rights." Maintain the intoxication and happiness of this unlimited right and you will be constantly carefree. This imperishable right is guaranteed. Where something is guaranteed, you are able to remain carefree. Hand over all your responsibilities to the Father and you will become free from all worries.

Slogan:      Those who are generous hearted (udaarchit) and have big and unlimited hearts (vishaal dil) are the foundation of unity (ekta).

Your Inner Drama Queen

Some of us have a talent for melodrama. We blow things out of proportion - creating 'dramas' out of little things. All this can get a little too exhausting, for us and others. Try steering your Inner Drama Queen away from over-exaggerated emotions and over-reactions. Being a drama queen doesn't have to be negative, we all need a little bit of flamboyance. Use your dramatic tendencies to share funny stories, entertain others, to relieve stress and promote stronger interpersonal relationships.

Self-respect

The more respect is measured on the basis of something external, the
greater the desire for recognition from others. On the other hand,
true self-respect comes from an appreciation of our inner qualities.
This then keeps us free from expectations and we will be able to
provide an environment of freedom for each one's growth. I need to
start the day with a thought that brings self-respect. I need to tell
myself that I am special and also use this specialty throughout the
day. I will then not dominate or limit the freedom of anyone but will
naturally treat with humility.

Yesterday we have explained how the virtue of peace works in human souls through the cycle of life. In today's message we explain (with reference to yesterday's message) how we can experience our original state of peace experienced during the initial phases of the birth-rebirth cycle. Tomorrow we shall explain how we can experience the eternal peace of the soul world. To have both these experiences, the basic principle that I need to remember is that to experience peace, I need to concentrate on it - concentration means creating thoughts about it and visualizing it at the same time. Secondly to access peace, I need to separate myself from my body and surroundings. So how do I bring these two principles in practice?

The first chapter of the Rajyoga meditation course as taught by the Brahma Kumaris in each of its centers states a simple fact and makes me realize it that I am not this body but I am an eternal soul, a non-physical star like spiritual energy, situated at the centre of the forehead, just above the eyebrows, the original nature of which is peace. The body is my vehicle. Now, to experience the peace experienced during the initial phases of the birth-rebirth cycle, my mind picks the above fact or wisdom from my intellect, which is a reservoir of spiritual knowledge and where the above fact is stored. Then, my intellect, which possesses the decision making ability judges the thought as to whether it is a right or wrong one. If my intellect is convinced about the fact, it judges the thought as right. Next, I take this process further. Along with creating this thought I visualize this thought on the screen of my mind i.e. see my star-like white/golden light form just above the eyebrows radiating white/golden rays of peace in all directions. I do this exercise for a few minutes. This exercise then leads me to an experience of peace, as a result of which a sanskara of peace is created. This is the peace experienced whilst visualizing the spiritual self inside the body -it is the peace experienced in the initial phases of the birth-rebirth cycle.

Seeing With Spiritual Eyes

My eyes are the most powerful medium through which I, the soul, not only absorb information from the outside to the inside but also express myself to others from the inside to outside. All that the soul possesses inside it or is made up of in the form of thoughts, feelings, attitudes, positive virtues, even weaknesses, in fact all personality traits, are expressed through my eyes to others and shared with others. As I look towards others, my eyes can be used to shower others with pure love, peace, joy, power etc. and the same eyes, if not used appropriately, can shower others with anger, jealousy, criticism, hatred etc. My eyes also express whatever wisdom or knowledge I possess inside.

When I stay in the awareness that I am a soul, a spiritual being of subtle light, situated at the center of my forehead, my eyes are used to see others in the same way with a spiritual vision. This leads to my spiritual upliftment. When I stay in the awareness that I am a body, my eyes are used to see others in the same way with a non-spiritual or a body-conscious vision. This brings me down on a spiritual level. A spiritual vision helps me see others with a sense of equality, instead of with feelings of comparison or competitiveness.Usually, on a physical level, I create all sorts of impressions of another person from just one glance through my eyes, about their age, gender, looks, position in society, job, how rich they are, their dressing sense, caste, nationality etc. and many a times, very commonly, I make various assumptions about their personality or behaviour. In the state of soul-consciousness, that changes. Looking out I see souls, and I see them as my brothers, on exactly the same level as me, neither higher, nor lower. A spiritual vision reminds me of the original, positive qualities of each soul, instead of their present personality. It also reminds me that each soul has incarnated from the soul world to play its various roles through different physical costumes in this unlimited drama on the world stage. Age, gender, appearances, status etc. which are visible to me today are just temporary ones. The same soul has been in the past and will be in the future in different physical costumes or roles, where all these have been and will be different and the same applies to me too.This makes me rise above comparisons and I am no longer judgmental about the other.

To serve with the heart, with love is to guarantee success.

Projection: When we have to be of help to others, we sometimes find ourselves doing it with force. We don't seem to be really interested in doing it but situations or people seem to be forcing us to do it. We, then, don't enjoy what we do and also don't find the benefit of it either to others or to ourselves.

Solution: We need to consciously make an effort to see what people are benefiting when we are helping them. With this conscious effort we are able to help others with love without feeling the heaviness of what we have to do. Thus, we find our actions to be much more fruitful.

Essence:    Sweet children, you cannot return home without becoming pure. Therefore, charge the battery of the soul by having remembrance of the Father and become pure naturally.

Question:   What does the Father teach you before taking you home?

Answer: Children, before going back home, die alive! (jeete jee marna)This is why Baba makes you practice going beyond the consciousness of the body in advance, that is, He teaches you to die alive. To go up above means to die. (upar jaana maana marna)You have now received the knowledge of coming and going.(aana aur jaana) You souls know that you have come from up above in order to play your parts through those bodies. Originally, we were residents of that place and we now have to return there.

 

Essence for dharna:

1.      Remove your attachment from that costume, the body, and die alive! That is, settle all your past karmic accounts!

2.      In order to become double crowned, make effort to study. Imbibe divine virtues. Make effort according to your aim and your auspicious words.

Blessing:    May you be seated on the seat of trikaldarshi and achieve success with the power of determination.

The power of determination is an elevated power which easily transforms the power of carelessness. BapDada's blessing is: Where there is determination, there is definitely success. Simply become an embodiment of success using the right method (vidhi se siddhi swaroop)according to the time. Before performing any deed, think about it and carefully consider its beginning, middle and end and then perform the deed or enable it to be performed, that is, be seated on the seat of a trikaldarshi and carelessness will then finish. Let the seed of thought be powerful and filled with determination and there will definitely be easy success (sahaj safalta)  in your words and deeds.

The blessing of today is very similar to the one we received on the 14^th of August. Today Baba has talked about the power of determination. With the power of determination, we, the master almighty authorities, make the impossible possible... by having determination in our thoughts, we have instant fruit... with the power to decide, the power to discern and the power to transform, we become the embodiments of success, loved by all... by using the right method (vidhi) according to the time, and with determination, we constantly make success the garland around our necks, no matter what happens in any situation...

There is no difficulty in considering yourself to be a soul and remembering the Father. You mustn't choke (ghukta) on that. This is called easy remembrance. First of all, you have to consider yourself to be a soul. It is a soul that adopts a body and plays a part. All the sanskars remain in the soul. The soul is independent. The Father says: Consider yourself to be a soul and remember Me, your Father. Only at this time do you receive this knowledge; you will not receive it again.

The world doesn't know you are sitting in peace. This is called natural peace. We souls came from up above to play our parts through bodies. We souls were originally residents of that place. This knowledge is in your intellects. There is no question of hatha yoga etc. in this. This is very easy. We souls now have to go back home, but we cannot go there without becoming pure. In order to become pure you have to remember the Father, the Supreme Soul. Your sins will be erased by remembering Him.

There is no question of difficulty. When you go for a walk, stay in remembrance of the Father. It is only now that you can become pure through remembrance. There, it is the pure world. There, in that pure world, there is no need for this knowledge because there are no sinful actions performed there. It is here that sins have to be absolved through remembrance.

There, you do everything naturally as you do here. Then, you come down, little by little. It isn't that you also have to have this practice there. It is now that you have to have this practice. The battery has to be charged now, and then it will gradually definitely be discharged. Only once, at this time, do you receive the knowledge of how to charge the battery. How long it takes you to become tamopradhan from satopradhan! From the beginning, the battery continues to decrease a little at a time.

There are just souls in the incorporeal world. There are no bodies there. So, there is no question there of the battery coming down naturally or the charge decreasing. It is only when the motor goes that the battery begins to discharge. When the motor is just standing, the battery does not work. The battery would start when the motor works. Although, in a motor, the battery continues to be charged, your battery is only charged once, at this time. Then, when you begin to perform actions through the body, the battery decreases a little.

First of all, explain that He is the Supreme Father, the One whom all souls remember. They say: Oh God! He is the Father and we are the children. Here, it is explained to you children how the battery has to be charged. You may tour around and remember the Father and you will become satopradhan. If you don't understand anything, you can ask. It is very easy. Our batteries discharge every 5000 years. The Father comes and charges everyone's battery.

Everyone remembers God at the time of destruction. For instance, when there is a flood, all devotees try to remember God. However, at that time, they will not be able to have remembrance of God. It would only be friends and relatives, wealth and property that is remembered. Although they say, "Oh God!", that is just for the sake of saying it. God is the Father and we are His children. They don't know this at all. They receive the incorrect knowledge of omnipresence.

The Father comes and gives you correct knowledge. The department of devotion is completely separate. They have to stumble around on the path of devotion. The night of Brahma is the night of Brahmins. The day of Brahma is the day of Brahmins. It would not be said: The day of shudras and the night of shudras. The Father sits here and explains these secrets. This is the unlimited night and day. The night is now coming to an end and you are going into the day. These words are mentioned in the scriptures.

They speak of the day of Brahma and the night of Brahma, but they do not know anything. Your intellects have now gone into the unlimited. In fact, you can say of the deities: The day of Vishnu and the night of Vishnu because the relationship between Brahma and Vishnu is explained to you. No one else can understand what the occupation of the Trimurti is.

They have put God into a fish and a crocodile (kachh-machh) and into the cycle of birth and death. (janm maran ka chakr)  Radhe and Krishna etc. are also human beings, but they have divine virtues. You now have to become like them. You will then become deities in your next birth. There was the account of 84 births, but that has now finished. It will now repeat.

 You are now receiving these teachings. The Father says: Sweetest children, have the faith that you are souls. They say that they are actors, but they don't understand how souls come down from up above. They consider themselves to be bodily beings. We souls come from up above, but when shall we go back again? To go up above means to die, to shed your body. Who wants to die?

The Father has said: Simply continue to forget your body. He teaches you how to die alive. No one else can teach you this. You have come here to go to your home. It is only now that you receive the knowledge of how to go back home. This is your final birth in the land of death. The golden age is called the land of immortality. It is now in the intellects of you children that you have to go back home quickly. First of all, you have to go to your home, the land of liberation. It is here that you have to shed the costume of that body and then the soul will go back home.

When a limited play ends, the actors take off their costumes, leave them there and put on the costumes that they wear at home and go back home. In the same way, you, too, now have to shed those costumes and return home. There are very few deities in the golden age. Here, there are countless human beings. There, there would just be the one original, eternal, deity religion.

Now they call themselves Hindus. They have forgotten their elevated religion and actions and this is why they have become unhappy. In the golden age, your religion and actions were elevated. Now, in the iron age, your religion has become corrupt. Does it enter your intellects how you have fallen?

You now give the introduction of the unlimited Father. The unlimited Father comes and creates the new world, heaven. He says: Manmanabhav! These words are from the Gita. The name given to the knowledge of easy Raja Yoga is the Gita. This is your school. When children come and study here, they say: It is the school of our Baba. For instance, the child of a principal would say: I am studying in my father's college. If his mother is also a principal, he would say: Both my mother and father are principals. Both of them are teaching. It is the college of my mother and father. You would say: This is the school of our Mama and Baba. Both of them are teaching. Both of them have opened this spiritual college or university. Both of them are teaching at the same time.

Brahma has adopted you. These are very deep matters of knowledge. The Father is not explaining anything new to you. He also gave you this explanation in the previous cycle. Yes, there is so much knowledge and it continues to become deeper day by day. Look how you receive the explanation of the soul. Such a tiny soul has a part of 84 births recorded in him. That is never destroyed. A soul is imperishable and so the part within him is also imperishable. A soul hears through the ears. There is a part when there is a body. When the soul separates from the body, you cannot get a response.

The Father now says: Children, you now have to return home. When this most auspicious confluence age comes, you have to return home. Purity is the main thing that is needed. Only pure souls reside in the land of peace. The land of peace and the land of happiness are both pure lands. There are no bodies there. Souls are pure. The battery doesn't discharge there. When you adopt a body here, the motor begins to work. When the motor is standing still, the petrol is not reduced.

The lights of you souls have now become very dim; they haven't gone completely out. When a person dies, people ignite an earthenware lamp, and they look after it very carefully so that it doesn't go out. The light of a soul never goes out completely; it is imperishable. The Father sits here and explains all of these things. Baba knows that you are very sweet children and that you have been burnt by sitting on the pyre of lust. I am awakening you again. You became completely tamopradhan corpses. You didn't know the Father at all. Human beings are of no use at all. The ashes of human beings are of no use. It isn't that the ashes of important people are useful whereas those of poor people aren't. Everything gets mixed: ashes to ashes and dust to dust, (mitti se mitti) no matter who it is. Some people have cremation ceremonies whereas others have burials. Parsis keep the corpses on a tower over a well and the birds come and eat the flesh. The bones then fall into the well. That is at least useful.

So many people in the world die. You now have to shed your body automatically. You have come here to shed your body and return home, that is, you have come here to die. You go in happiness because you are going to the land of liberation-in-life. Whatever part each one of you has played, you will play that same part till the end. The Father will continue to inspire you to make effort and will continue to watch as the detached Observer. This is a matter of understanding. There is no question of being afraid in this. We ourselves are making effort to shed our bodies in order to go to heaven. You simply have to continue to remember the Father and your final thoughts will then lead you to your destination. (ant mati so gati) This requires effort.

There is effort in every study. God has to come to teach you, so the study must definitely be a great one. Divine virtues are needed here. You have to become Lakshmi and Narayan. They existed in the golden age. You have come here to become golden-aged deities once again. The aim and objective is so easy! The Trimurti is also clear.

How could you explain if you didn't have the pictures of Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar? Brahma becomes Vishnu and Vishnu becomes Brahma. They show eight arms of Brahma and 100 arms of Brahma because Brahma has so many children. So, they have made those pictures. However, it isn't that there are human beings with so many arms. Ravan with ten heads is also symbolic; there is no human being like that.

The Father sits here and explains this. People do not know anything. This is also a play. No one knows when this began. They say that it has existed from time immemorial.(It is a parampara) Ah! but when was that? The Father teaches you sweetest children. He is the Teacher and also the Guru. So, you children should have so much happiness.

On whose directions are these museums etc. opened? Here, there is just the mother, the Father and the children. There are so many children. Centres continue to be opened according to directions. People say: You say that God speaks through a chariot, so grant us a vision! Ah! but have you had a vision of a soul? How would you be able to have a vision of such a tiny point? There is no need for it. It is just a matter of knowing the soul. The soul resides in the centre of the forehead, and such a big body functions on that basis. You now neither have a crown of light nor a jewel-studded crown. You are once again making effort to claim both crowns. You claim your inheritance from the Father every cycle.

Baba asks you: Have we met before? You say: Yes, Baba. We have been meeting every cycle. Why? To become Lakshmi and Narayan. Everyone would say the same thing. The Father says: Achcha, since you are saying auspicious things, now make effort! Not everyone will become Narayan from an ordinary man. Subjects are also needed.

There is the story of the true Narayan. Those people relate that story, but nothing enters their intellects. You children understand that that is the land of peace, the incorporeal world. From there, you will go to the land of happiness. It is only the one Father who takes you to the land of happiness. Explain to anyone and tell him: We are now to return home. Only the bodiless Father will take all souls home. The Father has now come, but they don't know Him.

The Father says: They don't even know the one whose body I enter. There is the chariot too. Every soul enters a chariot. The soul of everyone resides in the centre of the forehead. The Father comes and sits in the centre of the forehead. He explains very easily. Only the one Father is the Purifier. All the children of the Father are the same and each one has his own part. No one can interfere with that. Achcha.

To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada. The spiritual Father says namaste to the spiritual children.
